For over 45 years, Community Alternatives, Inc. (CAI) has been serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in Virginia through safe, supportive group home services that promote dignity, independence, and meaningful community involvement. In North Carolina, CAI also provides specialized residential and treatment programs for pregnant or parenting mothers facing substance use challenges —helping them heal, grow, and rebuild their lives in a supportive, family-centered environment.
