Hillside® specializes in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for children and adolescents. Our services include psychiatric residential treatment, complete with an accredited schooling component, as well as a DBT intensive day-program, virtual DBT intensive outpatient program, and intensive in-home therapy support in Atlanta, GA.

As the first residential treatment to become a DBT-Linehan Board of Certification, Certified Programs™ in the nation, Hillside ® specializes in working with children and adolescents who struggle with mood and anxiety disorders, severe emotion dysregulation, suicidality, self-harming or life-threatening behaviors, and borderline personality traits. In addition to offering adherent protocol DBT for teens, Hillside can also offer specialty DBT protocols including DBT-Prolonged Exposure (DBT-PE), Radically Open-DBT (RO-DBT), and DBT-PTSD.

Our multidisciplinary team of clinicians offers individualized psychiatric care as well as adjunctive therapeutic services, such as Horticultural Therapy, Recreational Therapy, and Theraplay ®.
